Technical Department
Underpinning the success of the business is the ability of our technical teams to work together to provide our customers with the best and most appropriate solutions to their problems. Our Microsoft, Citrix, HP and NetApp accreditations are just some examples of the high level of skills we maintain to provide the excellent standard of service our demanding customers require. Many of our customers are national companies with household names, however we also provide an identical level of service to our smaller and medium size clients. Owing to our continued expansion we are now looking to grow our Technical Services and Delivery Team to enable us to continue to service our rapidly expanding customer base.

All of our Consultants are fully focused on designing, implementing and documenting solutions which are able to deliver real-time added value to our clients.
The responsibilities and key deliverables for this particular role will include, but are not limited to:
- Helping customers understand and define their technical requirements and how it can help them to achieve their business goals
- Design, implement and document solutions which will ultimately assist the customer in achieving their business goals
- Have several years experience of designing & installing either Microsoft System Center suite of products or the components within (SC 2012 highly desirable).
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Server Operating Systems including Active Directory and Group Policies
- Thorough understanding of networking and security in relation to the above mentioned technologies.
In addition the successful candidate will ideally have had had previous experience of the following:
- Have an Microsoft Certification at MCITP: Windows 2008 Enterprise/Server Administrator standard or equivalent experience
- Solid understanding of Windows 7 & 8 deployment techniques
- Strong understanding of Active Directory infrastructure
- Experience of the System Center suite in total (all components)
- Familiarisation with ITIL processes and procedures.
As this role is expected to be 75% field based, the ideal candidate must be highly organised and disciplined, have excellent time management skills, and be able to prioritise tasks effectively and efficiently to ensure that customers’ needs are met within timescales. Excellent communication skills are essential and you must have the ability to convey technical issues to non technical staff in a simple and understandable manner.

This exciting full-time position will offer opportunities to provide professional 3rd line support to our varied and dynamic customer base. You will work with a close-knit team of Engineers on the Technical Support Desk to ensure a fast response to customers and at the same time act as a point of escalation for the 1st and 2nd line team on complex issues. You will be keen to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with customers, colleagues and suppliers in order to provide an exemplary service to customers. Ideally, you will also be able to assist the Technical Team Leader in supervising the busy Technical Support team.
For this role it is essential that you have either a MCSE or MCITP qualification (or an equivalent proven skill set), good Windows Server and Exchange skills as well as a sound working knowledge of the following technologies - Citrix, TMG and VMware. In addition you must have proven skills and/or experience in networking and firewalls and SQL. You will possess excellent customer service skills, lots of patience and diplomacy and a keen interest in learning and improving your skill set. You will need to be able to travel independently as the role may involve occasional customer site visits (a full driving licence is essential). We currently have an exciting opportunity for a proactive 2nd Line Managed Services Support Engineer to join our Technical Support Services department. The main purpose of this role will be to provide 1st and 2nd line IT support both remotely and on site to our diverse range of Managed Service customers.
The successful candidate will ideally have worked in a 2nd Line role previously and will possess the ability to pick up new systems and technologies quickly and with confidence. Utilising your excellent communication and customer service skills you will provide on-site technical support to our clients and assist EACS with building strong working relationships with key customer contacts and customer account managers. The support you provide will include server, desktop and networking infrastructure and you will ensure accurate information is maintained and available. You will manage demanding users who have high expectations so it is essential you are able to communicate technical issues and concepts to a non technical audience and possess a high degree of diplomacy and tact.
Our ideal candidate will be MCP qualified and it is essential you have had previous hands-on problem solving experience of MS Office 2007 and 2010, MS Windows Server 2003 and 2008, WSUS, MS Windows XP and Windows 7, MS Exchange 2003- 2010, Citrix, LAN and WAN Networking. In addition some previous experience of working with VMware, backup technologies and firewalls is also desirable.
Owing to the nature of the role and the requirement to be mobile, the successful applicant must also be in possession of a full driving licence.

Within this role you will be responsible for achieving all sales and performance targets and ensuring that all sales opportunities are maximised.
With the ability to negotiate and build relationships on multiple levels you will utilise your excellent communication, organisational and relationship building skills to ensure that we present the best and most appropriate solution to achieve core business goals. You will expand your portfolio of clients through investigation of business trends and needs, prospecting, qualification and, where necessary, profiling to ensure achievement of personal and organisational driven objectives.
You will need to work closely with our technology solution specialists to enable them to fully understand the clients’ needs and business aims effectively and efficiently, and as a result be able to provide them with the most appropriate solution to achieve their business goals.
The successful candidate will have previous experience within a similar role and will have evidence of consistent target over achievement in a sales or client services environment. You will demonstrate sound business acumen and a passion for sales.
