Technical Department
SCCM Consultant – Field Based
Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a SCCM consultant to join our Control & Collaboration POD based at our head office in Huntingdon. Within this role, you will be the professional technical interface between sales, other technical teams and our clients / prospects. You will assist with designing and implementing solutions based around technologies and services which will meet our customers’ requirements and enhance our reputation for customer service excellence.
 
Your key responsibilities will include designing, implementing and documenting solutions and you must have previous experience in helping customer define their technical requirements. You will have a can-do attitude with experience working within an IT Reseller environment or alternatively have had extensive experience as an IT Contractor. You must possess excellent communication skills and have experience of presenting to an audience and conveying technical issues to non technical staff in a simple and understandable manner. You will be highly organised with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise your workload.  As this role is field based you must also be flexible, prepared to travel and have a full UK driving licence.
 
The successful candidate will have:
  • Microsoft Certification at MCSE on Windows 2003 or MCITP.
  • Windows2008 Enterprise/Server Administrator or equivalent experience.
  • You will also have experience designing and installing AND/OR operating either Microsoft SCCM 2007 or SCOM 2007.
  • A solid understanding of Windows 7 deployment techniques and Active Directory infrastructure is also a must.
  • Ideally you will have experience in design, deploying and operating:
    • Microsoft Exchange 2007/2010
    • Microsoft SharePoint 2007 or newer
    • Microsoft Office Communication Server 2007 R2 or Lync Server 2010
    • Microsoft Forefront TMG 2010 or ISA 2006

Sales Account Manager – IT Sales

Owing to our continued expansion we now currently have an opportunity for an experienced sales professional with proven sales ability in a B2B environment to continue to service our rapidly expanding customer base. Within this role you will be responsible for achieving all sales and performance targets and ensuring that all sales opportunities are maximised.
 
With the ability to negotiate and build relationships on multiple levels you will utilise your excellent communication, organisational and relationship building skills to ensure that we present the best and most appropriate solution to achieve core business goals. You will expand your portfolio of clients through investigation of business trends and needs, prospecting, qualification and, where necessary, profiling to ensure achievement of personal and organisational driven objectives.
 
You will need to work closely with our technology solution specialists to enable them to fully understand the clients’ needs and business aims effectively and efficiently, and as a result be able to provide them with the most appropriate solution to achieve their business goals.
 
The successful candidate will have previous experience within a similar role and will have evidence of consistent target over achievement in a sales or client services environment. You will demonstrate sound business acumen and a passion for sales.
