Marathon have announced today they are now ready to supply two new upgraded products, the exciting new features for this release are as follows:-
Level – 3 Lockstep Protection
Level 3 protection is supplied with the everRun availability dial. With the high level of application and data protection supplied, a transaction and data change simultaneously on each host in “lockstep”. As a result, if there is failure on one of the hosts, the other takes over with no restart necessary, no downtime or data loss.
SplitSite
A clever feature designed to protect your site further by enabling geographic separation of hosts, this is achieved via a switch network for increased availability and fault tolerance.
Multi-host Support
This release supports more than 2 XenServer hosts , up to 4 hosts will be supported, with further expansion planned over time.
Windows 2008
Marathon everRun now supports the following: Microsoft Windows Server 2008 64 - bit as well as Windows Server 2003, 64 – and 32 bit.
