EACS added another award to its list of achievements last week when it was announced the winner in the Corporate Reseller of the Year category at the CRN Channel Awards 2009.
Staff from EACS, along with nearly 2000 other guests, attended the ceremony at Battersea Park Events Arena in London on Thursday and saw EACS beat off competition from eight other resellers on the final shortlist.
“EACS put in a solid entry for the channel awards and impressed the judges with, amongst other things, its extracurricular charity work,” said a representative of the CRN judging panel. “The firm polled an impressive number of votes from its client and partner base, beating some very stiff competition from much larger competitors to claim the Corporate Reseller of the Year title”.

The reseller awards recognise excellence in the delivery of solutions, service and support to customers, taking into consideration the reseller’s ability to deliver real benefits to organisations and to meet customer objectives in terms of improved efficiency, ROI and investment protection, and cost reduction.
“I would like to thank everyone who voted for us; the awards are a great way of recognising our achievements and give staff a fantastic boost,” said Mike Dearlove, Managing Director of EACS. “We will continue to strive to offer exceptional value to our customers and provide trusted advice on IT products, services and solutions.”
This is not the first time EACS has been recognised in the CRN Awards; the company won the SME Reseller of the Year category in 2003 and has been a finalist in both the Corporate and SME categories in past years.
