The Microsoft Office Tech Guarantee Programme allows you to invest in the latest available Microsoft Office 2007 software, but provides peace of mind knowing that you can upgrade to Microsoft Office 2010 and enjoy the additional benefits for your business.
When you purchase and activate Office 2007, you will have the ability to upgrade to Office 2010 at no additional cost*, when it becomes available in June 2010 [date TBA]. Your eligibility will be verified by Microsoft online and then you will be able to download your Office 2010 upgrade.
The Eligibility Period started on 5 March 2010 and will end on 30 September 2010. The Redemption Period will start when Office 2010 goes on general release, and will end on 31 October 2010. As fulfilment of this upgrade will be carried out online, you will not be able to pre-order your upgrade, but you will have the option of signing up for an e-mail reminder.
Eligibility
To qualify, you must meet several eligibility requirements, including:
- Purchase of Office 2007 or a new PC with Office 2007 during the eligibility period – you will need to confirm the purchase date when redeeming the Office 2010 upgrade
- Activation of Office 2007 key during the eligibility period – you will need your activated Office 2007 25-character Product Key when redeeming the Office 2010 upgrade
- Windows Live ID
