Technical and sales staff from EACS attended VMworld 2007 in San Francisco last week to find out the latest news on virtualisation, which included the launch of the VMware ESX 3i hypervisor.

At only 32MB the hypervisor will soon ship on new server hardware bringing virtualisation out of the box. This revolution in virtualisation will mean new servers introduced into a VMware environment can be up and running within two minutes of initial power on.
