Active Directory & Windows Integration Course
If you have been asked to get the best from your
Macs in a Windows environment, this is the course for you!
This course has been written to give a practical introduction to integrating Apple Macintosh computers into a Windows Active Directory environment and improving your company's performance by removing the barriers to collaborative working on Mac and Windows platforms.
It covers centralisation and management of User Accounts, Computer & Groups and we illustrate Workgroup Management and Mac Policy settings and the sharing of resources within AD. The course investigates Applications and virtualisation techniques for cross-platform compatibility with the aim of improving the productivity and efficiency of your organisation.
This course aims to give a thorough grounding in the various strategies and options available to integrate Macs and improve resource pooling. The purpose of the course is to enable the delegate to return to their employer armed with the practical knowledge to successfully plan, cost and implement the successful integration of Macintosh computers into a Windows environment.
This course is unique in that it covers not just the Apple solutions, but Third party alternatives as well. This course is not just about "Authentication" and security within AD, but file compatibility, data storage and sharing, creating collaborative workflows whilst simplifying management, maximising compatibility and increasing performance.
The course is run by practising engineers from the support arm of our company, who have learnt from experience the best hints, tips and tricks needed to successfully and efficiently support Macs within a Windows Infrastructure. This experience is passed on in a friendly and approachable manner.
- 2-Day Course, part theory, part hands-on
- Open to anyone, addresses real-world issues
- Especially useful for anyone providing in-house support
- PC/WinTel Engineers wanting to get to grips of Apple Technologies
- Leverages the experience of EACS's Support arm to feed practical issues into the course
The course finishes with a series of practical troubleshooting exercises that are not only fun and informative, but help reinforce the skills learnt on the course.
Collateral and Free On-Going Support
We firmly believe that our courses should be a “Password to Learning”. For this reason, we will provide 1 month free eMail and Skype technical support to the delegates to assist in them applying their new-learnt skills.
If they come across an issue they need help with, they will be welcome to contact us for advice or help. In addition each delegate will be given a CD containing Diagnostic tools and resources they have used over the course of their attendance, along with a course manual to take away.
Due to the complexity of ADI, ex-course delegates have access to hire EACS Engineers at highly subsidised rates to assist them in their projects should they wish.
