A taste of what you have to look forward to at #Optimise2020…
Optimise is coming quickly upon us, with the biggest event of the year less than two weeks away. We’ve been busy behind the scenes here at eacs and have over 40 exhibition booths and 36 exciting webinar sessions planned over the three days. We’ve been announcing a raft of big names who have agreed to join us for Optimise on our social media channels together with some of the thought-provoking topics they will be covering at their breakout sessions. If you’ve not already followed us on LinkedIn or Twitter, what are you waiting for?
If you’ve not done so already, there is still time for you to register for free and get access to every webinar, resource and exhibitor booth as well as the chance to get in early and book your 1-2-1 slot with the people you want to talk to. Not only that, while we might not want to admit it, we know that you won’t be able to attend every single event we have lined up (especially with 3 sessions going on at the same time!). That’s why we’re giving everyone who signs up before the 10th November the added bonus of being able to watch any webinar session on-demand for up to 12 months after Optimise. You can view the full agenda on our Optimise IT website at https://www.eacs.com/optimise-it/.
We are also very excited with the huge line-up of headline speakers we have signed to speak to you all this year. With that in mind, we decided to give you a brief introduction to our partners and what you can look forward to hearing about from the 10th -12th November:
Sophos – Tuesday 10th November – 10:15am
Sophos are the experts in making IT security simple with next-generation solutions that protect networks, servers, and devices, wherever they are. In their Keynote and Q&A session, Greg Iddon, Sophos Senior Cybersecurity Specialist, will look at the realities of ransomware and why so many organisations are being hit by devastating attacks.
“We are excited to showcase our expertise and cybersecurity portfolio to attendees. With the challenge’s businesses have been facing over recent months, Optimise IT 2020 will be the perfect opportunity for delegates to ask the experts those questions that are keeping them awake at night – all from the comfort of their office or home.” – Sophos
NetApp – Wednesday 11th November – 10:15am
NetApp is the data authority for hybrid cloud, and provide a full range of services that simplify management of data across cloud and on-premises environments to accelerate digital transformation. In their Keynote titled ‘NetApp – The Cloud Data Specialist’, they will focus on helping you get the most out of your data and securely deliver the right data, services and applications to the right people—anytime, anywhere.
Matt Dawson – Wednesday 11th November – 3:00pm
Alongside some of the biggest names in IT today, we managed to also get a World Cup winner to join us for this year’s event! Rugby World Cup winner Matt Dawson MBE will be with us on Wednesday afternoon to talk about his career in sport as well as his move into television as part of BBC1’s A Question of Sport and Strictly Come Dancing. Matt played under some of the greatest leaders in sport such as Sir Clive Woodward and will talk about some of the lessons he’s learnt throughout his long career as well as answering some questions from our audience.
“Come and hear my anecdotes and stories about innovation, reinvention and practical application when all others were happy with the norm, I am looking forward to sharing my stories with you on what is going to be a fantastic event.” – Matt Dawson MBE
Microsoft – Thursday 12th November – 10:15am
Microsoft will be our final Keynote speaker on Thursday morning, speaking about the power of the Power Platform and how applications can be utilised to improve the efficiency of your systems. eacs is now a Microsoft Power BI partner (our full list of accreditations can be found below) and you can find out more about our Power BI and Apps & Data services here.
This is just a small taste of what we have planned at this year’s Optimise IT event. With over 36 webinar sessions scheduled covering a wide range of topics and issues affecting the world of IT every day, there is something there for everyone.
