Taking Optimise Virtual – The Story so Far!
With 6 weeks to go, things are well underway, and we are starting to make real headway to ensure that this year’s virtual Optimise IT 2020 event will be the largest and most informative event for delegates yet. From the very beginning of our planning process, we wanted to ensure that we gave attendees the opportunity to address some of the challenges many businesses are facing, whilst also keeping the elements of our physical event that delegates so enjoyed.
As such, we have put a great deal of thought into the agenda and topics that will be covered as well as ensuring that delegates are able to get the most out of the potentially limited time, they have available.
Having finalised the agenda (which you can see here), we are now working with our sponsors to finalise the exciting list of breakout sessions we will bringing to everyone who attends – and we will begin to announce these over the coming weeks.
The bit I was most looking forward to was developing our bespoke platform and work has started in earnest on this and I am very excited with how it is coming together. A key element we were keen to ensure was that delegates would have a seamless virtual experience.
I am sure like me you have attended other virtual events where you had to keep logging into different portals or areas to be able to access the elements that you wanted, or you couldn’t find stuff and ended up missing key events.

On top all of this we wanted to make sure that delegates did not have to make the sometimes difficult decision of which sessions to attend. As such, every session will be made available for delegates to watch as soon as it is finished. We understand that in these difficult times, businesses are still coming to terms with the “new normal”, and as such we were keen to ensure that delegates were able to access all of the information that will be made available over the course of the 3 days, at a time convenient to them.
As such, for those delegates who have registered before the event, they will have unlimited access for up to 12 months to access all of the collateral from any of the 50 exhibition booths, keynote speeches or the 38 breakout sessions that will be available.
As you can see whilst we have come a long way in a short amount of time, there will be many more announcements coming over the coming weeks and I am excited to be able to bring you regular updates on what they will be. Over the coming weeks we will update you on all of the exhibitors who will be joining us, giving you advance notice of some of the new technological advancements they will be showcasing and also disclosing some of the not to be missed seminars that will be available for you over the course of the 3 days.
